Actual Factual

One winter afternoon, I climbed up into the preschool’s bookloft with Eli, a red-headed three-year-old.  He picked a fact book on dinosaurs.  As I read to him, his eyes remained glued to the pictures - of tyrannosaurus, stegasaurus and all the other sauruses.  When we got to the end, I casually asked, “Hey, Eli, what happened to the dinosaurs anyway?”  And with deep solemnity, he nodded his head and replied, “They died in the museums”.

Writing is a form of play that I’ve dabbled in most of my life.  I especially enjoy writing true stories (or almost-true stories).
I love to write to prompts and journaling has long been a refuge.  Recently, I’ve begun writing songs.
A few years back I was going to write a book, though since that idea got derailed,  I’m now delighted to have this forum to share my writings.
    Wheeeooo! I'm a blogger!!!
